Bumini Privacy Policy

Bumini is a Turkish-language preschool learning app for children aged 4–6. This policy explains what information the app uses, where it is kept and what rights you have as a parent.
Summary
- No account, no sign-up. You do not need an email address, phone number or account to use Bumini.
- Your information never reaches us. Your child's name, age and progress are stored only on your device. We have no server; we never see or receive this information.
- No ads. The app contains no advertising and no advertising software.
- No tracking. The app contains no analytics, statistics or crash reporting tools.
- No location, camera, microphone, contacts or files.
- One-time purchase, parent area only. Payment is handled by Google Play; your payment details never reach us.
- We do not sell or share data.
1. Data controller

Because Bumini has no server and no information leaves your device to us, we do not process any of your personal data in connection with the app.
2. Information the app uses
All of the following is stored only on your device. The app has no server to send it to.

You may enter a nickname instead of your child's real name; the app does not require a real name.
3. Information we do not collect
Bumini does not collect, read or request any of the following:
- Location
- Camera, photos, videos
- Microphone or audio recordings
- Contacts
- Files on the device
- Email address, phone number
- Advertising ID
- Usage data for analytics or statistics (daily play time is kept on the device only for the time limit and is never sent anywhere)
4. Permissions and internet
The app does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts or file/storage permissions.
The app uses an internet connection only to make and restore purchases through Google Play, together with Google Play's billing permission (com.android.vending.BILLING). Games, stories, songs and the parent area work without an internet connection.
5. Purchases
Bumini is free to download. Two worlds (World of Numbers, Colors and Shapes) and the parent area are free. The other worlds are unlocked permanently with a single one-time "Full Version" purchase. There is no subscription.
- Purchases can only be made from the PIN-protected parent area. Children's screens show no prices or buy buttons.
- Payment is handled by Google Play. Your card and payment details are processed by Google and never reach Bumini.
- The app learns from Google Play that the purchase was made and keeps only a "full version unlocked" flag on the device. This is not sent to us.
- Google's own terms apply to the purchase: Google Play Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell, rent or share your child's information. It never reaches us under any circumstances.
Information can leave your device only in the ways below. All are under your control and all are inside the PIN-protected parent area:
Sharing the progress report. The share button on the progress report opens your phone's share menu with a text containing your child's name, the date, points and progress in each world.
Export. The Export button in Settings opens your phone's share menu with a text containing your child's name, age, points, badges and progress.
You choose where to send these texts (email, messaging, etc.). Bumini never sends them anywhere by itself.
Android backup. If Android's automatic backup is turned on for your phone, Bumini's information is included with your other apps' data in the device backup in your own Google account. This keeps your child's progress when you change phones. The backup belongs to you, not us, and we cannot access it. You can turn backup off in your phone's backup settings (the name and location vary by phone brand).
The app contains no links that take the child out of the app (to a website, another app or a store).
7. Retention and deletion
Information stays on your device until you delete it. There are two ways:
- In the app: Parent area → Settings → Reset All Data. This deletes your child's name, age, points, badges, all game progress, the pictures in the album, the daily play time and the settings (sound and music, daily time limit, parent PIN); the app returns to the first-time setup, where you choose a PIN again. It cannot be undone. Your full version purchase is kept; it is tied to your Google Play account.
- By uninstalling: When you remove Bumini from your phone, all information the app stored is deleted. After reinstalling, you can unlock the full version again free of charge with Restore Purchases in the parent area.
Because we have no server, there is no copy held by us for you to ask us to delete. If a copy exists in the device backup in your Google account, you can manage it from your Google account settings.
8. Your rights as a parent
Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK, Article 11) and similar laws, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information, and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted.
In Bumini you can exercise most of these rights directly in the app:
- See: the progress report and Export in the parent area
- Correct: Parent area → Settings
- Delete: Reset All Data, or uninstall the app

9. Children's privacy
Bumini is designed for children and built to comply with the Google Play Families policy. No personal information is requested from children directly; the name and age are entered by a parent. The app shows no ads and does not send the child outside the app.
The parent-facing area (report, settings, export, deletion, purchases) is protected by a PIN. You choose the PIN during first-time setup; there is no default PIN. We recommend a PIN your child does not know. You can change it at any time in Parent area → Settings → Change PIN.
10. Security
Information is stored in the area of your device reserved for the app; other apps cannot access it. Bumini does not send this information to any server. If Android backup is on, the backup is stored in Google's backup service under your account.
Your device's own security (screen lock, etc.) matters for protecting this information.
11. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. If there is a significant change (for example, if we start using a new type of information), we will also mention it in the "What's new" notes of the Google Play update.
